Are we losing control over our privacy?

The existence and popularity of services that bypass privacy settings on social networks makes you think. It turns out that even if we set our account to "private," our content can still be accessible to someone who knows where to look. Does this mean the concept of "digital privacy" is becoming an illusion? Should social networks fight such loopholes more actively, or is it a hopeless arms race, and should we just accept that nothing is truly private online anymore?

On one hand, these loopholes exist, and absolute digital privacy might be a myth. I've used tools like an instagram private story downloader app to save something from a private account discreetly, which shows how conditional the settings are. However, that doesn't mean we should give up. Social networks must actively patch vulnerabilities and educate users. But perhaps the key takeaway is healthy skepticism: understanding that any digital action leaves a trace and sharing content accordingly, even in a private account. It's an arms race, but awareness is our best defense.
