Sri Gowtham Bhat

Sri Gowtham Bhat is a dwivedi and has mastered both yajur veda and atharvana Veda. He has over ten years of formal veda patashala training in yajur veda (Kramantham) and 2 years in atharvana veda.

 

He was a priest in temples at Bangalore and Mumbai for 6 years ant at Ganesh Temple, Nashville, TN for 3 years. He has considerable experience in performing both poorva prayoga and apara (Last rites) karyas. He can recite by heart most of Yajur Veda with Akshara Shuddam and Swara Shuddam.

 

He is prominent in performing Navagraha Pooja, Pradosha Pooja, Satyanarayana pooja, Vaasthu pooja, udakshanti parayana (Chandi), Punyaha, Navagraha Homam, Ganapathi Homam, Chandi Homam, Gruhapravesha, Veda Parayana, Veda Teaching and many kinds of shantis. Gowtham is from Sagar, Karnataka. He is well versed in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and North Indian traditions. He speaks Kannada, Hindi, Sanskrit, Tamil and lives with his wife Vanishree and Daughter Parinita.
